Cures for Bad Breath
There are many ways to get bad breath, but fortunately for sufferers of halitosis there are equally many cures for bad breath.
Activated Charcoal: Charcoal cleanses the stomach and bowels, and as a natural purifying agent it absorbs
pollutants from the body, which in turn cures bad breath.
Anise: Seeds of anise or fennel can aid in masking foul odors, and anise kills the bad bacteria which cause bad
breath.
Salt Water: There are many pollutants in the mouth, including undigested food particles and bacteria, and these
can easily create foul odors which cause bad breath. One of the simplest cures for bad breath is to gargle and rinse the mouth with salt water
which removes these odor-causing pollutants.
Tea tree oil: One of the less commonly known cures for bad breath is tea tree oil. It is a powerful disinfectant
due to the antiseptic compounds it contains. It has a powerful flavor and can be found in many types of toothpaste.
Apple cider vinegar: As digestion plays a prominent role in bad breath, using products which aid digestion is
one of the best cures for bad breath. Apple cider vinegar is one such ingredient; a single tablespoon should be added to a glass of water and
consumed before each meal.
Chlorophyll: The ingredient which makes plants green, a few capsules of chlorophyll everyday is one of the
leading cures for bad breath as it deodorizes the bowels, and more specifically, the undigested vapors in the digestive tract which travels up
into the mouth and causes bad breath.
Hazelnuts: It has been suggested that chewing hazelnuts are one of the many cures for bad breath, as hazelnuts
have the power to absorb foul odors in the breath.
Antibacterial Herbs: Some prominent cures for bad breath are the use of herbs, such as sage, which contain
essential oils with strong anti-bacterial properties. You can chew sage to get rid of the bad odor-causing bacteria and thus cure bad breath.
